Safer Internet Day 2026 – Smart Tech, Safe Choices

A Safer Internet Day 2026 Special online webinar

Join us for an engaging online talk exploring how Artificial Intelligence (AI) is shaping everyday digital life and how individuals, families, and professionals can make smart, safe choices when using emerging technologies. This webinar marks the launch of the new BCS Hertz Extra monthly online series.

Artificial Intelligence is now embedded in many of the digital services we use every day, from search engines and social media to education tools, smart devices, and creative platforms. While AI offers significant opportunities, it also introduces new risks around misinformation, privacy, trust, and online safety, particularly for children and young people.

Delivered as part of Safer Internet Day 2026, this session provides a clear and accessible introduction to AI, exploring where it appears in everyday life, how it can be used positively, and what safe and responsible use looks like in practice. The session is designed for a broad audience and requires no technical background.
