All are welcome to join us for our Annual General Meeting (AGM) followed by a Trip the Natural History Museum at Tring. Our short Annual General Meeting is great chance to meet the committee and get involved with or learn about our exciting programme of Computing related events!

After our AGM meeting lunch* refreshments will be provided. Then, as a chance to socialise and relax, will we take a short walk to one of the finest collections of stuffed mammals, birds, reptiles and insects in the United Kingdom.

The Museum has six galleries, each dedicated to different animals. The first has birds, carnivores, and primates; the second hosts temporary exhibits; the third has crocodiles, crustaceans, fish, insects, large mammals, and marine invertebrates; the fourth has kangaroos and odd-toed ungulates; the fifth has bovids, hippos, pigs, and marine mammals; and the sixth has amphibians, bats, British mammals, dogs, ratites, lizards, snakes, turtles, and small mammals. The Museum also has a Discovery Room for kids and the Rothschild Room, recreating the Rothschilds’ working environment.

  • 1:30 PM onwards the Natural History Museum at Tring
  • (Museum closes at 5pm)
