RFID – from tags to applications

After the early years of this millennium full of hype over RFID, what has happened now that we have crossed “the chasm”? Simon Holloway has been involved with the development of RFID solutions in Europe from the start, firstly with Microsoft and now as Practice Leader for UK industry analysts Bloor Research. Simon will describe how RFID and other sensory devices are being used to provide visibility and measurement for different processes. The talk will be based on the finding of two technical reports and a market update that he has produced at Bloor in the last six months.
