Digital Photography – technologies and imaging

In a remarkably short time, digital photographic technologies have taken over almost entirely from traditional film, in both the amateur and commercial spaces. However, the characteristics of the two technologies are very different, and parity has not yet been reached in terms of image quality. The speaker will examine why and offer suggested targets that could bring digital photography into line with traditional standards.
